Population migration has promoted the economic and social development during the process of urbanization in China. It supports the rocket speeding of modernization in the society. However, large scale migration has impacted and will influence the evolution of the country, especially in the process of social and economic restructuring. It asks for the changes in the rules and regulations of social insurance and job supply policies. Therefore, quantitative researches are essential to the study of population migration.This thesis mainly studies two problems. Firstly, we analyze the spatial construction and historical changes of migration among provinces. Secondly, we study the influence factors of population migration among provinces in China.After describing the study condition and sketching out the research results in this area, this study firstly maps out the clusters of migration districts in factor analysis method, and then analyses the historic change of migration's spatial construction by comparing the clusters in two periods. Secondly, the model of provincial migration is explored through Migration Preference Index, following by the comparison between the two periods. Thirdly the factors of provincial migration will be analyzed by econometrics methods. Finally the conclusion is made as well as the outlook of the further researches. |
