Since the reform and openness, the speed of China's ethnic minority social change and decelopment are further faster. With the deepening of China's urbanization process, a growing numbers of ethnic minorities come into the city, so the increasingly multi-ethnic and multi-cultural phenomena of the city becomes significant. In the city, different nationalities, different cultures exchange and collisions are frequent, it is no wonder that there will be contradictions and conflicts, which makes urban ethnic relations become more complex, sensitive. With the increasingly mutli-national trend of the urban residewnts and multi-national trend for urban residents in our reality, our study grasps the relationship between different ethnics in the city, explores the road of buiding the harmonious multi-ethnic communities, which has great practical significance and academic value. It takes the relationships between the Korean group and Han group in the Wangjing distrit of Beijing for example, through field investigation, focuses on the relationship between the Korean group and the Han population, as well as the adaptation problems and bottlenecks of Korean float population they encountered in the Wangjing Community. The study analysis the cause and result of the problem and has put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.The Han group of Wangjing distrit have amount negative comments, Korean ethnic group and Han group live together, but are alienated by the community where the Han ehnic are dominant and also not integration into the community truely. This is the main form: for the lack of communication between Chinese and Korean, prejudice emerges, and due to competition for survival and the stress of public order concerns leds to many misunderstandings on the Korean float population, and "Pai Han" emotiona also effects and so on .The distinctive characteristics and unique vitality is the Multi-ethnic and multi-cultural community`s reason for being now. Active construction of a harmonious and stable multi-ethnic communities needs to make unceasing efforts: building multi-ethnic cultural identity is the core part of tmulti-cultural community, the establishment of scientific and advanced multi-ethnic, multicultural community value system. The strategies and suggestions of building multi-ethnic and multi-cultural community this paper points out are: to seriously implement national policy, to clearly definite management responsibilities, to greater the fair evaluation of multiple population, organizing various community activities to promote cross-ethnic communication, fostering good community image, building community pride sense.
