With the constant development of the Internet information technology , the Internet has become a new media for contemporary youths to learn about the world, acquire knowledge, and communicate. The derived cyberculture brings unprecedented challenges to the traditional campus culture, while brings new concept to the construction of campus culture. Therefore, campus Internet culture is produced. Contemporary youths are interested and susceptive in new knowledge, new culture, and new information, which makes them the subjects of such culture activity. Their view of world, view of life, view of value and way of act are all greatly influenced in both the negative and the positive way. Therefore, it is of boh theoretical and practical significance for the future development of socialist cause to strengthen the study and research on campus Internet culture and give ful play to its function of ideology education function.This article first analyzes the content, function, and features of the campus cyberculture from a culturology angle, and clarifies the function of ideology education of it. Combining with the features of contemporary youths, this article also discusses the present situation of ideology educaion, as well as points out the problems facing in the new period, especially the lack of network ethics.However, the main land of campus cyberculture is in the universities. For this reason, the author analyzes the present situation and practical effect of ideology educaiton on cyberculture in universities in terms of Internet Communication and Internet Public Opinion; as well as proposes the practical strategies to improve the ideology education on campus cyberculture in universities:The first is to foster positive campus cyberculture by means of introducing ideology blogs, so as to enrich the content of university students'ideology education. The second is to build up a complete set of workers of cyber ideology education, so as to improve the effectiveness of ideology education in universities. The third is to enhance the entire quality of cyber workers and the level of public opinion, so as to promote the level of ideology education of university students. These three strategies aims at strengthening university ideology education and improving talent cultivating quality. We studied the specific case of the effect of campus cyberculture on ideolgy education in NUC, and then made feasibility analysis and practical strategies, which may provide a useful reference for coworkers of ideology educaiton. It is of great practical significance to guide the students healthily surf on the Internet and improve the unhealthy Internet environment, by means of building the construction of campus cyberculture in universities into an advanced culture in campus.
