Foundation Fieldbus Is Based On High-speed Ethernet Communication

Fieldbus is a communication network used to interconnect field devices such as intelligent measurement instruments,control devices.executive machines.The presence of Fieldbus changes the system framework formed by the traditional field instruments.In the recent years,the technology of Ethernet and TCP/IP is very successful in the field of Information Technology which have been the most prevailing technology in network communication.Now.Ethernet and TCP/IP are appled in the industry of automation gradually .which has been a trend.The application of Ethernet in Fieldbus improve the speed and reliability of communication greatly.at the same time.we are faced a problem which become the key of the application of Ethernet.The problem is how to realize the combination of Ethernet and Fieldbus control techneque.Foundation Fieldbus based on High Speed Ethernet(FF HSE) is the only kind of Fieldbus adopted the technology of Ethernet.My thesis focus on the analyse and realization of the HSE Session,and through it the combination of HSE and Fieldbus is described.In the first part of this thesis,the history,the status and the trend of the Fieldbus technology are introduced and the architecture of the Foundation Field is discussed .Then HSE Session is analysed carefully. Based the analysis.the realization of Session and communication established with Session is given in detail.In the last part.the perspective of the application of Ethernet is described.
