Research On Global Sustainable Development Strategy Of IKEA

From the early enterprise top managers’ strategic planning to the relatively mature strategy of the modern enterprise’s management system, the role of multinational enterprise’s strategic management in the whole management system improves steadily on the increase. Since the 1990s with the dynamic development of the theory of strategic management, multinational enterprises urgently realize that in order to gain the healthy development of the enterprise they must take advantages of the sustainable management. Based on the research background of IKEA’s global sustainable strategic management system systematically this paper discusses IKEA’s sustainable strategic management operation mechanism and analyzes its problems in the view of flexible supply chain management and combines the KPIs of IKEA’s sustainable strategic management. Point out that the management of sustainable strategies should adapt to the dynamic environment and change the concept of strategic management with flexible sustainable strategic management to promote enterprise sustainable competitive advantage.
