Study On The Mechanism Of Industrial Clusters And The Upgrading Path Of Industrial Clusters

In the Third Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee of the CPC, the direction and emphasis of marketing process in the overall economic restructuring have been settled, the restructuring has entered into a new phase. The industrial cluster, originally the outcome of the overall economic restructuring, is the driving force for the developing of regional economy and has deeply marked on Chines economic zones. Since China is undergoing economic restructuring, industrial cluster, being able to optimize the industrial structure, as well as to further the regional development, has taken more significance. However, both domestic and abroad experience on the growth of industrial cluster suggests that,its competitive strength will not continually last. Thus there’s a necessity of upgrading the industrial cluster timely to ensure its sound development. Presently, the industrial cluster in parts of China has somehow come up with difficulties as the furtherance of its development, such as the unreasonable structure within the cluster, the recession, and its weak anti-risk capacity, etc. All these factors will become the obstacles on the way of economic development. Thus it’s the biggest concern to find a way of upgrading our national industrial cluster under the global trend and our national circumstances.This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part focuses on the explanation of the industrial cluster growth mechanism. On the condition of the wide absorbing and using of the interrelated foreign theories, this thesis discusses the relevant connotation, classification, as well as the influencing factors of the industrial cluster, which is beneficial to the updating and development of the industrial cluster. The second part focuses on the typical experiences of the updating of the industrial cluster in America, Italy and Germany. On this basis comes important inspirations for promoting the industrial cluster in our country and provides successful experiences of its updating. Considering the development phase of the industrial cluster in our country, the third part analyses the rivalrousness of China’s industrial cluster. And it mainly focuses on the reasons of its existence. The last part puts forward the optimal path of China’s industrial cluster. And it proposes interrelated countermeasures and suggestions from the perspective of the strengthening and implementing of the policy system of the cluster upgrading, technology innovation, as well as the widening of the export-oriented degree of the cluster.
