The rise of China’s telecommunications industry began in the 1980s and 1990s. At that time, the reform and development of China has achieved initial success. The average annual growth rate of GNP, the total wages of urban workers and the real income was around 9%,6% and 4%. So, with the telecommunications market demand exploding, telecommunications spending became a hot spot. In 1979, the number of telephone users in China was only 2.03 million, it increased to two hundred million in 2000, and three hundred million in 2001. The rapid development of the domestic telecommunications industry makes the telecom companies like China Mobile to concern the International market more. Subsequently, the Chinese telecom went global.China Mobile is a pioneer. Its early performance in exploiting the international market is not satisfactory, but with the success of the Hong Kong China Resources Peoples and Pakistan Telecom acquisition, China Mobile, who has the largest number of users among the telecommunications companies all over the world, began to emerge on the world stage.By analyzing the environment of the domestic telecom industry, this paper assess the enterprise internationalization strategy of China Mobile, and providing academic advice, by studying the previous experience of internationalization.
