Research On Network Structure And Innovation Performance Of Emerging Industry Innovation Alliance

With the development of economic globalization and specialization, leading to the disadvantage of the traditional model of innovation become more obvious, so we should change the innovation model from alone to collaborative. As we all know, our country is in the crucial period of economic transformation at this stage, and emerging industries is the key point to solve this problem, it has become the main driving force for economic development, so the study of innovation for emerging industries become more urgent. Industry Innovation Alliance provides a good platform of cooperation and exchange for company innovation, it can make the research and development cycle of emerging industries’core technology become greatly reduced. But with the deepening of cooperation and the development of the Internet, we found that since some companies is still not clear understanding the network structure of the Emerging Industries Innovation Alliance, so the innovation performance is not high. Therefore, this paper specifically analyzes the Emerging Industries Innovation Alliance how to affect innovation performance from the perspective of the network structure.We analyze the Emerging Industries Innovation Alliance from the perspective of social networks in this paper, and pay attention to the research of the network structure of the Emerging Industries Innovation Alliance how to affect innovation performance. At the same time we introduce socializing network capability of the Alliance as the moderator, and explore its moderating effect of the network structure impact on innovation performance. Then we build the theoretical model based on the above analysis, make assumptions, and get relevant dates from Taizhou bio-pharmaceutical industry Innovation Alliance by investigating. Through the analysis of the dates, we find the following conclusions:(1) Network diversity, network strength and network density exist inverted U-shaped relationship with innovation performance. It means that the three dimensions of the network structure have promoting effect to innovation performance when they in a certain degree, but when these three dimensions exceeds a certain level, which promotes innovation performance is not obvious even counterproductive in Emerging Industries Alliance.(2) There is a positive correlation between the network location and innovation performance. It means that when the companies are located in a central of network, the companies will be able to get relevant information earlier than other companies, and because it is located in the hub of communication channels, so it can produce control advantage, thereby promoting innovation performance.(3) There is not exist inverted U-shaped relationship between the network stability and innovation performance. It means that the network stability affect innovation performance is not obvious, innovation performance will not change as the network stability change significantly.(4) Socializing network capability of the alliance exist modulation effect to the network structure affect innovation performance.
