A Study Of Private Economic Policy In The Early Period Of New China From The Perspective Of Social Harmony

The Communist Party’s policy to the private economy plays an important role for maintaining social stability in the beginning of New China (1949-1952). Firstly, it has vitalized national economy that changed people’s life; secondly, it also helped the owners of private business and solved the employment of most social members that stabilized social order; at last, it comforted the capitalists that alleviated the conflicts between the labor and the capital. The above importance of the Party’s policy to the private economy in the beginning of New China is exactly accordance with the exploration of current social construction from the demand of the Party and country. At present, China is still in the primary stage of socialism and will remain so for a long time. During this, development is still the priority and the ultimate way of improving social harmony and stability. According to this, the present study on the Party’s policy to the private economy provides practical implications to the construction of current social harmony.The present study is divided into four parts.Chapter 1 discusses the origin of social construction ideas and theories in aspect of social harmony. The fantasy of the ideal society of thinkers at all times reflects people’s pursuit of good life and this is the representation of people’s benefit, which is a concern to Chinese Communist Party. The world outlook and methodology of historical materialism from Marxism provides theoretical guide and practical path for the Communist Party about the idea of future society. In the beginning of New China, the country and social background has influenced the Party’s policy to the private economy.Chapter 2 describes that the choice of the Party’s policy to the private economy should obey the demand based on the above macro-background.Chapter 3 discusses practical results about the Party’s policy to the private economy. As to the effects of its social and the construction of harmony, the Party’s policy to the private economy plays an important role in vitalizing national economy, establishing the material basis of social harmony and negotiating social relations. At the same time, it shows that right policy also needs high-level leaders who understand the policy and national conditions in the process of its carrying out and implement. Only in this way can social difficulties be settled better for improving social harmony.Chapter 4 concludes historical experience based on the results of improving social harmony in the beginning of New China. And it has a great meaning for social construction. In order to facilitate the stability of social harmony, the country must insist on the guiding position of Marxism, people’s benefit and specific national conditions so that it can not only enhance the level of ruling and the Parry’s policy, but also truly realize the stability of social harmony and people’s happiness.
