The thesis studies China's economy adjustment at the end of 70's and at the beginning of 80's in the 20th Century and attach importance on its background, the course, the relationship between the economy adjustment and the turn of the China's economic development strategy, the relationship between the economy adjustment and the initiation of China's reform and opening-up policy based on the actual development course of China's economy since the founding of the PRC, especially the initiation and development of the New Period's economy.
