Study On The Sustainable Development Of County Economy In Huayuan County

China’s national economic development has entered a new normal state nowadays. Under this background, county economy plays an important role in the national economy. However, with the development of county economy, local governments at the county level has utilized resources and environment too excessive and caused many problems, especially the ups and downs of the resourceful county economic development has caused great hurt to local economy and the well-being of people. The emergence of these problems gradually destroys the county economy long-term development ability and the growth space. County economy’s sustainable development has become an important issue in the study of the sustainable development of our country. And how to praise the performance of county economy’s sustainable development ability should attracted more attention from local decision-making departments and academic circles.Based on the study of the theory of the sustainable development both at home and abroad, combining with the characteristics of resourceful county economy, this paper developed three dimensions assessment indicator system from the economic sustainable development, social sustainable development and environmental sustainable development; Then, using the assessment indicator system to evaluate Huayuan county economy’s sustainable development during 2004-2013. Empirical study results show that: comprehensive index of sustainable development of the county economy during the period of 2004-2013 has improved slightly. More specifically, economic subsystem sustainable development index is the lowest in the period of 2004-2013 and the trend is worsening with time goes by; Sustainable development index trend of social subsystem, best fluctuated rise during 2004-2013 and showed an uptrend; Environment subsystem sustainable development index is the highest, however, as the mining boom synchronous fluctuations. Based on this,, this article put forwards some policy suggestions from thought, industrial structure, social development and environmental protection.
