Research On The Evaluation Of The Sustainable Development Indicator System

This thesis is based on the commentary to the related theories of the regional sustainable development. It analyses the factors that Fuzhou can keep on developing and designs the sustainable development indicator system of Fuzhou. Then it takes this as the foundation to evaluate the sustainable development of Fuzhou in 1990, 1995,2000 and 2003. The strategy adjustment was made to the regional sustainable development of Fuzhou and the related suggestion was puts forward:The thesis first introduces the connotation, the theories foundation, the research progresses and existent problems of the development, providing a theories background for the following research. On this foundation, it analyses the factors of sustaining development in Fuzhou . Then set up the principles through the sustainable development indicator system which contain science, brachylogy, coordination, whole, local area, maneuverability. According to the principles, it designs the indicator system. The system includes three layers. The first layer contain three indicators which are the sustainable development of economy , society, resource and environment. The second layers include 20 indicators and the last layers include 64 indicator .This thesis uses AHP method to confirm the proportion and calculates the approximate trend .Thus it calculates its each factor contribution degree to reflect the importance of various factors to total development target. Then it calculates the comprehensive evaluation index of sustainable developmentwhich contain the economic sub- system, social sub- system, resources and environment sub- systems in 1990,1995,2000,2005 by the function method of adding various targets proportion. According to it, the thesis announces the development trend of the regional sustainable development in Fuzhou. The main conclusion is that the comprehensive evaluation value( Y) in Fuzhou tends to increase at any time. But it is still only in the stage of primary development currently(in 2005).
