The purpose of research:under the background of new urbanization, is very important to make intensive utilization of urban land. The study is expected to reveal that the current Chinese urban land utilization is not intensive,to study the spatial pattern and clustering features of urban land utilization intensity in china,to study the spatial driving factors of urban land intensive utilization,in order to put forward effective measures and suggestions for the land intensive utilization of urban land in the new urbanization of china, and promote the intensive utilization of urban land. The meaning of research:study on the intensive degree of urban land utilization in the province of China from the perspective of brand new perspective, descripe the general nature of urban land utilization in the context of rapid expansion of China urban rapid expansion, deepen the research of allometric growth law,fit the spatial index of land intensive utilization of urban land,to provide reference for the government to formulate relevant urban land policy. The method of research:empirical research is mainly used in this research, use eviews to study the allometric growth law of China, use ArcGIS and Geoda to study the spatial patterns and clustering features of urban land utilization. The conclusion of research:using the model of the allometric growth to get the factors of 31 regions of China, the research shows that growth rate of urban growth in China follows the allometric growth law,but most of the provinces are negative, that means, the growth rate of urban area is rapidly than that of urban population, which means that urban land utilization is not intensive. We do the self-related research by Geoda to analyse factors which calculated from allometric growth model. If the scaling factors of Moran’s I is positive,it is global auto correlation. The LISA clustering shows,Heilongjiang Province in the "high-high"gathering area, the the Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei region in the "low-low"gathering area.We get an conclusion that per capita wages in urban units, per capita the third industry increased value, per capia local tax revenue, green coverage rate, local tax revenue, per capita GDP,per capita urban residents consumption the seven indicators and scaling factor in space showed negative correlation, which can be used as standard degree factor of driving. Finally,I suggest,in order to promote the intensive utilization of urban land,we can not only make full use of urban land, reduce the increment of urban land, development of urban stock land,in order to improve spatial metric values and so on,the govenment should formulate policies to control driving factors of urban land intensive utilization.
