Research On Intensive Utilization Of Land In The Process Of Urbanization

Since the adoption of the open and reform policy, the process Chinese urbanization has been accelerated. Now the rate of urbanization is 45%, it shows that our country has entered a stage of accelerated development. With the sustained and rapid economic growth, industrialization and urbanization process accelerated, land supply and demand conflicts intensify, which become a bottleneck restricting the development of national health, so it is an important task to protect the arable land and conserve the building land.Based on the relevant theoretical studies and research method home and aboard, taking Lanzhou as instance, has attempted to make an analysis of the situation of land use in Lanzhou through collecting materials and investigation. At the same time, it makes compassion with the other nine western cities and provides certain proposals as regards the intensive utilization of land resources in the city. The present thesis is organized into five chapters:The first chapter elaborates the research background, significance of the study, and the current state of research on the intensive of Lang in cities home and aboard, at last the concept and implication of the intensive utilization of land in city are proposed. In the second chapter, it mainly analyzes the relevant relation about urbanization and intensive utilization of land in Lanzhou. The chapter is divided into four section: the first section analyzes the present situation of urbanization, especially about the meaning of mountain and river city; the process of Lanzhou's urbanization and the present situation of urbanization since the adoption of the open and reform policy; the second section analyze the present situation of intensive utilization of urban land. It study Lanzhou's intensive utilization from four parts, which includes lands'inputs, land utilization intensity, land utilization structure and land productivity, and make a horizontal contrast with the western nine city and our country building land standard. The third section collect Lanzhou's urbanization rate from 1997-2007, population density and average GDP in land, and come to the relevant relationship about the urbanization and intensive utilization in the regression analysis. In the third chapter, the intensive utilization of urban land of Lanzhou City was evaluated with the AHP method, the intensive utilization level of Lanzhou is 0.14, and make a contrast with the building area which comprehensive value is 0.58. The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the obstacles which obstruct Lanzhou's intensive utilization, and some policy suggestions were proposed to improve the intensive utilization of urban land in Lanzhou city in the future. The last chapter mainly talks about the results and problems.
