In this paper, what we studied is the influence factors of non-agricultural income(NFI) in the western region of China. Compared with central region and eastern region, the economy and rural residents’ NFI of western region is much more lower. However, to eliminate the unbalance economy of different regions, our country has already put forward a lot of policy. The urban economy has been developed fastly since the western development policy carried out. Has been Influenced by Urbanization, the level of Rural residents’ income keeping increasing constantly, espcailly the NFI. We know Rural NFI and Urbanization contact tightly, Rural NFI is not only the important key of improving the level of Rural residents’ income, also is the overall situation of urban and rural integration development. We discuss human capital(HC) and social fixed capital(SFC) the two impact factors of NFI from macroscopic and microscopic sides. In the first chapter, we mainly introduced the research background/significance/the purpose of this article/the research content and the methods. In the second chapter we introduce the related theory and the definition of NFI, we also introduce the theoretical basis of the model. In the third chapter we introduce the status quo of the income level of rural residents and the NFI.In the fourth chapter, we establish provincial regression model from the macroscopic angle to discuss the influence factors of NFI. Every 1% increase in per capital level of education(ED) cause 1.19% increase in non-agricultural income(NFI). Every 1% increase in Original Value Of Productive Fixed Assets(OPA) cause 0.691% increase in non-agricultural income(NFI). Compared with the social fixed capital(SFC), the human capital(HC) play a greater role in influencing NFI.In the fifth chapter, taking Yunnan province as an example,we establish panel data regression model from the microscopic angle to discuss the influence factors of NFI in rural family. There are five impact factors of NFI in rural family : Per-person Cultivated Land Area(PCL) /Non-agricultural Industries Investment(NIV)/ level of education in family(ED)/The Original Value Of Productive Fixed Assets(OPA)/ The ration of Nonagricultural labor(RL). In panel data model the five factories’ coefficients are:-0.817/0.019/0.055/-0.064/0.055. Every 1% increase in PCL cause0. 817% decrease in NFI in rural family. Every 1% increase in NIV cause 0.019% increase in NFI in rural family. Every 1% increase in ED cause 0.055% increase in NFI in rural family. Every 1% increase in OPA cause 0.064% decrease in NFI in rural family. Every 1% increase in RL cause 0.055% increase in NFI in rural family. we can sorting the five impact factors from strong to weak as: social fixed capital factors of agriculture(PCL and OPA)/human capita factors(ED and RL)/ social fixed capital factors of nonagriculture(NIV).In the sixth chapter, we mainly discuss how to improve the level of the nonagricultural income of rural residents in western regions, and give our suggestions.
