With the rapidly development of the E-commerce, express delivery has been became one of the fastest growing industrials among our modern economy. From the industrial prospects’ point of view, it is still in the innovation stage of its life cycle, which has a great potential and attract community’s attention increasingly. However, it is still in the exploring stage when it refers to the express delivery research at home, the current index system is far from mature. This paper intends to explore the spatial structure and the spatial pattern of relations of the express delivery net in the Yangtze River Delta by analyzing the express delivery’s space distribution in the Yangtze River Delta, the variety of the nuclear density and the direction shift of the standard deviation ellipse. Based on the feature that 8 sample enterprises’ network node layout is highly accorded with the integrated layout in the district, so we can take advantage of the integrated layout of the network node to analyze in this paper. The study found that the express business in the Yangtze River Delta is mainly accomplished by road transport, and the road network spatial distribution is primarily concentrated on the Z-shaped traffic aisle. Like Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Changzhou, Wuxi, Suzhou, Shanghai, Jiaxing, Hangzhou, Shaoxing and Ningbo. It is most effectively through here travel to the other place of this district on time distance and spatial distance. Through the analyze of the Unicom reliability of the traffic network, the Travel time reliability of the route and the Road network capacity reliability, we can sure that the reliability of the high-speed transportation network in this region is available, and deserves to be trusted. It means the reliability guarantee of the transport network is practicable for the freight of the express in the Yangtze River Delta.The peak of the express delivery’s network node of the space layout in this district generally appear in the central of the city, and form a trough or a smooth transition value at the edge of the transition zone of the cities, showing the layout feature of a city as a unit, even in some place forming an island shape which in the city center as the core. Accordingly, use the individual city as the measure index of the express change and discovered the express delivery’s network node’s horizontally layout showing contiguous focused Z-shaped aisle, extend down Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo. We can find the discipline that the traffic net aisle and the express net aisle are consistent. Based on the gravity model and the desired predictive value model, we can further analyze the probability of the express service among different cities and consumer’s expectations in choosing different cities’ express service on the basement of the traffic aisle and express operating scale. We find that the probability of the consumers’ express service purchasing behavior in different cities is focused on the central region of the Yangtze River Delta, which covered the Z-shaped traffic aisle contains Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo. The layout of the express network node is most densely in this zone, relation between those cities is rather close. And it showed a high degree of consistency between those three aspects. The expectations of the consumers’ express service purchasing behavior in different cities is most densely in this zone, showing the Z-shaped trend, and was consistence with the developed high-speed road network of the Z-shaped traffic aisle contains Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo.Additionally, this paper suggests that the expectations center of the consumers’ remote express service purchasing located in Suzhou, and high probability center located in Suzhou and Wuxi. Meanwhile, high probability corridor mainly connected the developed city alongside the Yangtze River like Nanjing, Shanghai, and Hangzhou. In the future development of the express delivery industry, the government and industrials should overall planning, and integrate the layout of the enterprise network and it’s node, to build higher level of the express transit network node. It is undoubtedly that the center position like Suzhou and Wuxi are the optimum choice, and those development cities will be the main business hinterland and the economic anchor.
