Shanghai is a famous international tourist city and the center of Shanghai city has rich tourism resources and numerous commercial, historical and cultural blocks, etc. So, it attracts a lot of tourists. The development of network information technology promotes the emergence of many social media and interactive platform. These social media contains a large number of POI information related to tourists travel, which provided a new way for the study of tourists POI spatial distribution and temporal and spatial variation.This paper gets tourist related POI data from the social network Panoramio through the web crawler way. On the theoretical basis of the first law of geography, the paper aims to explore the tourists POI spatial static distribution and temporal and spatial dynamic variation by Arcgis, computer graphics software Surfer and Coreldraw software. First, it, analyzes the basic characteristics of tourists POI distribution by geostatistical analyst of Arcgis and Coreldraw. Second, it explores the visitors POI agglomeration rules by hotspot analysis of Arcgis. Then, it explores the characteristics of tourists POI gradient by trend surface modeling of Surfer. Last, it explores the dynamic changes of tourists POI distribution respectively from two angles of the month and time through simple density mapping of Arcgis. This study draws the following conclusions:(1) On the whole, the spatial distribution of tourists POI in Shanghai city center shows the distribution pattern of "a zone five bands with multi points ". A zone concentrates the north of east Fuxing Road of Huangpu district, the south of the junction of Huangpu district and Yangpu and Zhabei district, west to Jingan district in the center and south, east to the Huangpu district along the Yellow River area. With "one area" as the main body, "five bands" extends around and has linear type, divergence type and bending type three extension types.(2) The absolute number of the center of Shanghai city POI distribution is extremely unbalanced, Huangpu district has an absolute advantage, followed by Xuhui district, Jingan district and Zhabei district is the least. Huangpu district POI density is the biggest, followed by Jingan district, Huangpu district, Jingan district and Hongkou district three area density is higher than the rest of the five districts. Huangpu district, Jingan district tourism resources contribution rate is relatively weak, Xuhui district, Hongkou district and Yangpu district tourism resources contribution rate is relatively general. Putuo district, Changning district, Zhabei district tourism resources contribution rate is relatively high.(3) The core hot area is highly concentrated and continuous distribution, mainly concentrated in the north of Huangpu district. The secondary core hot area is mainly around the core hot area of 600 meters-1000 meters on the buffer zone. The core cold area is distributed in some places where tourism resources are less, population is sparse and city function is relatively weak.(4)The spatial distribution of tourists POI in Shanghai city center forms three small peaks from the Bund to Nanjing Road. The areas with high levels of tourist areas, large-scale business district, entertainment district, historic districts region formed the higher peaks, and the areas with dense residential areas, lack of places to visit, urban parks, commercial facilities, entertainment facilities in the region is the formation of obvious grooves.(5) Tourists take more photos in March, July, October, less in November, December. It is affected by the temperature and the wishes of taking pictures. The Bund to Nanjing road to the people’s square has been the denser regions, the density of Jingan Temple and Xujiahui area is not obvious seasonal. Tongji University, Fudan University, Shanghai Gongqing National Forest Park, Zhongshan Park, Changfeng Park Park or the area similar to the park is more obviously affected by the seasons.(6) The number of photos begins to grow rapidly from 5, and declines from 10 to 12, because most people are having lunch. Then, the number of photos grows rapidly from 12 to13, because most people have finished the lunch. The process from 13 to 14 has been in rapid growth, it reaches a peak at 14, and then begins to decline. Within these two hours from16 to 18, it obviously declines. The reason may be, in the afternoon, it was getting dark and the tourists had shot a lot of photos, the tourists themselves may also become fatigue and are not interested in taking pictures. After, it declines hourly. From 9 to 17, the range of high density distribution is wide. From 6 to 8 and 18 to 20, the range of high density distribution is range. From 21 to 2 of the next day, the density of the whole Shanghai city center is very small.
