| During the 1990 s, the large demand of the Internet sparked a new round of information technology revolution. With the deepening applications of the information and communication technology, software and information services integrated faster into manufacturing and services industry, growing into an important tool to support the industries’ development and become the strategic pioneer to cultivate a country’s competitive advantage.Based on the comparative analysis about the current situation and development of software and information service industry in China and India,this article use the four indicators including the international market share, trade competitive index, revealed comparative advantage index, the opening degree of service trade, measuring the international competitiveness of the software and information service trade.Moreover,to use the modified "diamond model" as the basic framework, it analyze two countries’ competitiveness of the software and information service industry from six impacts.Finally, to learn from the experience of India’s industrial development in order to make full use of our strengths and overcome defects,giving some suggestions on how to develop software and information service industry in our country. |
