| The software industry influences whole world politics, economy and social life. The comparison research of determining factor to software industry international competitiveness between China and India undoubtedly have the extremely important practical significance to develop our country software industry and promote our country software industry international competition.This article begins from the Porter's"Diamond Model"to discuss the determining factors of software industry international competition,essential factors include the manpower factor, the technical factor, the market demand, the market competition structure, the correlated and the supporting industry, and the government. These six essential factors which decide Chinese and the Indian software industry international competitiveness constitute an interdependence system.In chapter three, the article describes the China and India software industry present situation and compares its international competitiveness, separately inspects difference influence of each determining factor by real diagnosis research. The quantitative analysis result indicated that, compares with India, the Chinese software industry international competitiveness is continuously at a weaker condition, the market centralism and the R&D manpower intensity has a more remarkable influence to the Chinese software industry international competitiveness, but lower market centralism and R&D personnel's lacking restrict the Chinese software industry development. The Indian software industry development had the very bright characteristics, the manpower, the government support and the development opportunity plays the crucial role.In chapter four, according to the empirical research result, further analyzes the difference of each determining factor between both countries, and discovers the deep reasons of the Indian software industry high speed development and the Chinese software industry development bottleneck. |
