Research On The Optimization Of Tianjin Manufacturing Structure Based On The Coordinated Development Of Beijing, Tianjin And

In the context of joint development of Jingjinji Zone, from seven aspects which are production value structure, investment structure, industry distribution of science and technology input, difference, degree of specialization, competitiveness and industry efficiency, I analyzed the present situation of Tianjin’s manufacturing structure quantitatively and qualitatively. I calculated the difference in manufacturing between any two of Tianjian, Beijing and Hebei based on similar coefficient method, the results show that manufacturing structure of Tianjin and Beijing is quite similar, while there exist big difference between the two area and Hebe. Also I used Gini index and location entropy to measure the degree of specialization of Jingjinji’s manufacturing, the results show that the specialization of Tianjin’s manufacturing has obvious advantages in Jingjinji Zone, but its degree of specialization is in decline compared to national level. Then I used shift-share method to analyze the competitiveness of Tianjin’s manufacturing and Jingjinji’s manufacturing, the results show that Tianjin’s manufacturing structure remains irrational and its competitiveness needs improvement. I evaluated the industry efficiency of Jingjinji’s manufacturing by DEA model, the results show that the industry efficiency of Jingjinji’s manufacturing is good on the whole, but it does not reach the optimal state between its input and output. To sum up, the conclusion of the qualitative and quantitative analysis consists of two parts. One part is that Jingjinji’s manufacturing structure has been continuous improving but its effect is not obvious. The other part is that Tianjin’s manufacturing structure has been constantly optimized, but it still has problems.To this end, considering the national and Tianjin’s strategic objective of manufacturing, I explored the optimized path for Tianjin manufacturing structure on the basis of their current opportunities and bottlenecks, namely cooperation with Beijing and Hebei plus self-optimization. Specifically, Tianjin should comply with the development trend of global manufacturing, take the joint development of Jingjinji Zone as background, the innovation-driven development as theme, the breakthrough of key technology as main direction, the integration of information technology and manufacturing as main line, the cultivation of well-known brands as support, the improvement of environment as constraints, then adhere to high-end leads, innovation-driven, quality and efficiency as the first, cooperation and development to build manufacturing cluster center and expand manufacturing’s industrial chain. All of these would gradually optimize Tianjin’s manufacturing structure so as to contribute to achieve the development goals of Tianjin’s manufacturing and national strategic objectives of manufacturing.
