| Urban spatial structure reflects urban functional systems on region and space. It is also a comprehensive reflection of urban policy, economy and society. With the combination and interaction of these factors, the industrial development zone has a gigantic effect on the structure of urban area.Taking Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou as research objects, this paper was concentrated on the relative of economy, society, policy between industrial development zone and the structure of urban area. Then the relationship and interaction principles of the industrial development zone and structure evolution of urban area were revealed. At last, it put forward some means and measures to conformity the spatial development of urban and industrial development zones.The content of this paper is as following:Part 1: The background, meaning, thought and method of study was introduced. Then the related studies of industrial development zone and urban spatial structure evolution were reviewed and summarized.Part 2: Related categories and concepts were defined, including concepts, evolutional modes of urban spatial structure, definitions of industrial development zone, and layout types and mechanisms between industrial development zones and the structure of urban area.Part 3: By analyzing the general situation, spatial grow, functions evolution and affects on the affiliated city, the paper abstracted the characteristics and modes between industrial development zones and the structure of urban area.Part 4: The functions of urban government on industrial development zone and urban space were studied. Urban government should help arrange and optimize spatial recourses of urban area through some measures and means. |
