Research On Spatial Structure Evolution And Formation Mechanism Of Chinese Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry Based On New Economic Geography

Pharmaceutical industry relate to the public health needs, and the gathering and re-integration of industrial space has become an important worldwide economic phenomenon. How to seize opportunities in the new international division of labor process is very impotent for a country or region’s future economic development. In this paper, we explore the formation mechanism of medicine manufacturing space structures under the new economic geography (NEG) perspective.First, the paper reviews the related research about industrial spatial structure formation and evolution home and abroad. There are two main theories about the current interpretation of the spatial distribution and changes. One is the neo-classical trade theory, it is the theoretical basis of comparative advantage, the theory that industry location by location and level of technology and other exogenous variables determined; the other is the increasing returns and imperfect competition as the theoretical basis the new economic geography, the theory is that the industrial location is endogenous, through the "centripetal" and "centrifugal force" that the inheritance metastasis.Second, we got the stable core-edge spatial structure according to the statistical description of the characteristics of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, and the sea area continue to strengthen the core, the central region are gradually formed,and the Southwest are gradual weakening.Then, on the basis of the new economic geography liberal capitalist model,this paper introduced technical elements, using technology instead of capital, continue the theoretical derivation about medicine manufacturing space structure evolution mechanism.Next, in the fifth chapter,we use the influence of the measurement model checking technology to transfer pharmaceutical manufacturing space structure, the empirical results show that the flow of technology will drive the migration of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, there are also other factors that may influence the transfer of pharmaceutical manufacturing.Finally, this paper gives advice from two aspects to promote the rational development of the industrial structure, on the one hand, pharmaceutical manufacturers should pay attention to their own skills, increase R & D investment; on the other hand, the government should pay attention to the boot, according to factors industrial transfer, targeted to improve the transfer of industries relevant supporting policies and institutions needed to promote the rational distribution of industry across the region.
