| International direct investment is a major way of capital flows which has a broad and far-reaching impact on the host country’s economy. To construction the 21 st century Maritime Silk Road is a strategic choice for China to maximize its interests and seek common development through foreign economic and trade and foreign direct investment. This research mainly consists of the following contents, the first chapter is the introduction, in this chapter, the author describes the contents of the selected topic background, the research significance and the domestic and foreign research trends. The second chapter analyzes the selection of 21 st century Maritime Silk Road strategy to implement the background and object of study. The third chapter research Chinese direct investment in major countries along the Maritime Silk Road. Chapter four introduce the measurement model and conducts an empirical analysis of economic effect of host country. The fifth chapter from both China and the major countries along the Maritime Silk Road put forward countermeasures and suggestions. Research thinks, China on the amount of direct investment in major countries along the Maritime Silk Road on the sea in recent years rapid growth, but there is a smaller scale, the industrial structure is not reasonable, uneven regional distribution, on the economic effects of performance: first, the major countries along the Maritime Silk Road direct investment in these countries GDP growth promoting effect. Second, China on the major countries along the Silk Road on the sea direct investment trade effect of these countries is the import and export of creative, but between country and country, a country import and export effect difference is obvious. Third, the employment of these countries, China’s direct investment of major countries along the Maritime Silk Road has positive creation effect, but this effect to economic growth, import and export effect is not obvious. Fourth, China’s direct investment in the main countries of the Maritime Silk Road on the economic effects of different countries have different economic effects. In view of the analysis results, this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to both sides of China and the Maritime Silk Road, hoping to provide a reference for the two sides to better participate in the construction of the Maritime silk road. |
