| This paper takes strategic management as the written logic and bases on the author’s working experience in the country postal marketing office in Zhuhai city to make a qualitative and quantitative analysis in Zhuhai Postal Company’s postal business.Through utilizing PEST analysis method and Porter’s Five Forces Model, the author makes a comprehensive analysis on Zhuhai Postal Company’s postal businesses for its external environment and internal resources, then takes SWOT analysis method to find out its strength and weaknesses in order to fix up Zhuhai Postal Company’s ongoing resources distribution and strategic development. Meanwhile, combing the external environment, it analyzes the facing opportunities and threats during the expansion of postal business. Then, the author sums up the existing problems of the postal business. At the same time, it has some positioning problems. Its strategic orientation is not clear and thus restricts its development. Modern information technology is to be strengthened. The operational model and management system cannot cater for the operations and development of posting in the new era. Based on Zhuhai Postal Company’s external and internal environment and self characteristics,this dissertation designed its postal development strategy, and poses its business development overall target, strategic positioning that is, banking strategy, ecommerce strategy, diversification strategy and business transformation strategy.Finally, the author poses the countermeasures of the strategy implementation and stipulates specific planning and suggestions for the strategic implementation. |
