Under the environment of global competition, the success of corporation doesn't depend on the level of vertical integration any longer. However, it will depend on appreciation level of product or service by knowledge accumulated and used by the corporation itself instead. Globalized and interconnected development of economy makes the environment faced by companies more competitive and unpredictable. Companies in all industries, no matter what scales they are in, will be faced with some challenges. The changing level and speed of challenge and the fact that different companies have different abilities to control and predict challenges make the environment uncertain. The uncertainty of environment forces companies to have stronger adaptability. As a kind of useful tool to increase adaptability of company and enhance company's competitive power, transformation outsourcing has become a new frontier in outsourcing area. Beginning with environment challenges and industry fluctuations faced by companies, this passage elaborates definition of transformation outsourcing, differences between transformation outsourcing and traditional outsourcing, its effects, key elements contained in transformation outsourcing, and its mode. Also, this passage discusses the problems from process of its operation.This passage is made up of four parts. The first part elaborates connotation of company's core competitive power, its characteristics, relations between core competitive power and outsourcing, and how to identify it; the second part discuses forming basis of outsourcing, its characteristics, its strategic significances, development process( of traditional outsourcing, coordination outsourcing, transformation outsourcing), its main kinds( production outsourcing, human resource management outsourcing, selling outsourcing, finance outsourcing, logistics outsourcing, R&D outsourcing and information technology outsourcing); the third part discusses connotation of transformation outsourcing, its key elements, its modes( customer outsourcing, selection outsourcing, readily available outsourcing and combination outsourcing); the last part discusses ideas to implement transformation outsourcing, its operational key elements, and how to set up strategic outsourcing relationship under the environment of transformation outsourcing.
