For a long term, our country advocates unilaterally conforming to the international on hotel trade development, take star level standard as guide, and does not make clear market goal. Data shows , for 2002 years ,only 44.8% of domestic tourist took star level restaurant as their own accommodation option, 41.5% of the resource of guest room of star level restaurant are in idle state. The reason of economic hotel heat is that Chinese city resident have entered large-scale relax and vacation travel consumer stage; But because of income restriction, they are willing to accept the clean, low-priced hotel, that offers basic service , huge demand makes economic hotel undersupply.Concerning statistic shows, in western developed country, the proportion of the economic chain hotel and luxury star level hotel is normally 7:3, and in Nanjing and other big city of our country, economic chain hotel is still in the initial stage. From specific enterprise running layer, product running pattern and the development of the economic hotel of our country still have fairly big adjustment room. On the one hand, market foundation is much larger than the market that has developed. Since appearance, economic hotel is always in the state that lags behind demand; On the other hand, economic hotels for mass tourists, that is to say visitor in pyramid base, lack fairly. in each scene district of nation-wide, there also lack suitable low end hotel. Through positioning low end customer market to start and promote this trade, its positive meaning is self-evident. Facing the crowd with relatively lower ability to pay, no matter being commercial or travel purpose, economic hotel has the characteristic of its self in operating specificly , how to develop economic hotel faster and better , meeting the needs of Nanjing city travel trade and commercial development , is the last end and the starting point of the research of this paper. This paper is divided into 4 parts:Part 1 ( the first chapter ): this part has expounded background, purpose and meaning of the study, and elaborated the research frame and technique of the full text; Then, looked back the development of domestic and international economic hotel and research condition, and elaborated characteristic and meaning of economic hotel.Part 2(the second chapter): this part has discussed the theoretical foundation of developing economic hotel , the key points are industrial organization theory, flexible theory, customer's behavior theory ,as well as the relation between them and economic type development. Part 3 (the 4th and 5th chapter ): This part mostly gives some comprehensive analysis abouteconomic hotel developing condition from restaurant trade development condition, economic hotel profession environment, development obstacle of economic hotel, the social condition of developing economic hotel and the SWOT quantitative analysis of economic hotel development in Nanjing. At the same time, through roll investigation, appraised the customer's behavior ofeconomic hotel of Nanjing.Part 4 ( the 6th chapter, conclusion and discussion ): This part puts forward some views of developing economic hotel in Nanjing mainly from the aspects, such as investing, product design and service ^ trademark strategy and grouping, training of human resources and sustainable development, and looks forward the future of economic hotel of Nanjing. |
