Container Port Agile Development

Agility is the developing trend of enterprise in the future. The study of agility of enterprises first takes place in manufacturing industry. With the rapid development of world economy and continuous rising of the people's living level, consumption demand is getting more and more principal, personal and divers. To adjust to market surrounding, it is necessary for enterprise to have rapid reactivity. With the appearance of advance management ideology and manufacturing philosophy AM, Agility bring qualitative diversification in our lives, tasks and social activities, thereby, inducing fundamentally transformation of enterprise's structure mode. That's to say that the changes make former developing track and qualitative leap in social economy not only in industry, but in various realms, and this changes will take place in container ports industry. Under the condition of undergoing fierce competition in ports of North East Asia and agility of Chinese ports to be risen. It's of importance to Chinese ports to induct agility evaluation in container ports industry, and to constitute index system of it. Main of the thesis are as following:Under the background of agile manufacturing, this research firstly set forth the meaning of agility and agile service, then puts forward the importance and imminence of implement of agility in ports. On the basis of agile service in ports, bring forward the tendency of agility of container ports.Secondly, after have introduced the character of container ports' agility, this research discuss the studying situation of scale economy in container ports, and the influence on the scale of container ports under the ship's huge-model trend, also adopt economics method to demonstrate the scale economical of container ports. Furthermore, analyze its development rules of scale in the evolvement process of Chinese along coast container port system.Thirdly, put forward development tendency of container port organization structure and the character of agile organization structure of container ports, furthermore research the organization structure agility of container ports, by analyzing the relation between the entropy of organization structure and agility, labor division, entropy and agility, organization arrangement and agility.In chapter 5, a comparatively complete set of container port agility evaluation index system is set up. Divided into three levels, this index evaluated the agility of container ports from four aspects: time, cost, Robustness and Scope of Change. Moreover, fuzzy model is inducted and set up evaluation model, and try to apply to evaluate the agility of Container Port Group.Finally, the thesis discusses implementary condition of agility in container ports, and put forward some suggestions to carry out agile tactics in container ports.
