Because the motor industry is the mainstay part of a country's economy development, the study of its strategy become more important. Previews studies about motor strategy mostly involved motor industry; the corporation's level was seldom conducted. Meanwhile, the quantitative analysis of motor industry is little applied also. From this point, this paper has carried on a detailed analysis on Chang Feng Group's development strategy using classical strategy management theory and well-rounded econometric method.Firstly, the paper analyzed the Chang Feng Group's exterior development environments. From the study of macro-environment and industry environment, we have got the competition figure of Chang Feng Group. After evaluated several methods of strategy analysis, the paper selected SWOT model to carry on a strategy analysis on Chang Feng Group, and further concluded four original strategies for select. Meantime, in the view of model demand, the paper also analyzed the internal development conditions of Chang Feng Group.The paper didn't choose traditional QSPM model for strategy selection, because the model heavily relied on index weight. Otherwise, we introduced another econometric method, entropy method, to conduct the empirical analysis of Chang Feng Group's strategy selection, which is the great innovation of this paper. The results of analysis showed that Chang Feng Group should select growth strategy. And the paper further studied the strategy formulation on different management level.The last part of this paper made a more detailed study and discussion on strategy implementation about different departments of the company. Our analysis will offer a helpful reference for the whole motor industry in the field of how to select the development strategy.
