Technology Industrial Clusters Based On Knowledge Of Network Capacity Growth

The industrial clusters is one of the major features in current globalization economy. In China, it is generally accepted by the academic world and industrial world that the competitive advantage of cluster is to be cultivated by the improvement of technological capability(TC). Based on the viewpoint, the research focuses on the new method of improving the TC of industrial cluster. From the perspective of knowledge management, the thesis emphases the knowledge network(KN) structure's impetus to the TC of industrial cluster, and searches for the theory base for China's industry structure update.The research begins with the discussion of capability system of industrial cluster. Embarking from the knowledge essence of technological capability, the thesis draws on the existing KN theories, industrial cluster theories and existing the research on the structure of TC. For the knowledge system perspective, the thesis comes up with that the TC system of industrial cluster is a model of "duality within one framework" which is composed of enterprise, enable body and architectural mechanism. Based on the model, the research combines the approach of factor analysis and the approach of "variance-coefficient". The thesis verifies the factors in TC system of industrial cluster by the approach of factor analysis, and determines the weights of factors by the approach of "variance-coefficient", establishing the TC measuring model of industrial cluster and offering the operational tool for the appraisal of industrial cluster TC growth.Based on this, the thesis explores the mechanism of KN-based development of industrial cluster's TC from the angle of cluster learning. Starting from the concept of knowledge learning, it also probes into the KN-based mechanism for the growth of cluster TC and analyzes how the knowledge interaction in KN is coordinated to facilitate the growth of TC for industrial cluster. By focusing on the learning interaction between the interior and exterior KNs, this thesis integrates network learning with the TC of industrial cluster. Then, it takes into account the design of growth means for the industrial cluster TC and analyzes the motivational mechanism for constructing KN and enhancing the TC in two varied aspects: inner motive and outsourcing. Afterwards, the thesis utilizes the research method of In-depth Case Analysis to investigate the growth of the TC for the low-voltage electrical appliance industry cluster in Liushi town, which hopefully will support and confirm the theoretical framework of this thesis.Based on the foregoing discussions, the thesis proposes some suggestions and measures for improving the KN-based industrial cluster Technological capability at the following three levels: enterprise, enable body, and government. Finally, research conclusions are summarized and future perspectives on the field of study are also noted.
