Project Management Maturity Model Is In China's Construction Projects In Applied Research

Since we imported foreign conception of construction project management, we have had a remarkable effect both in the depth of the theory research and in the width of combining this theory with practice after 20 years of practice and application. But still we meet many problems. Project management maturity models are the hot spot in the research of project management both in China and in the outside. As a tool, which can effectively and objectively evaluate quality of enterprise project management that is usually hard to be rationed ,it can help enterprises to improve abilities of management to a high level, and gain the trust of both the inside and the outside of the enterprises in their state of the abilities in project management. Finally it can help organizations to improve their abilities of project management.And now we have entered into WTO. There are millions of construction projects established and the total investment is over several trillions every year. Howere, there are many shortcomings in our construction project management and we should do more favors to improve our construction project management level. For this reason, this essay attempts to find a method of improving construction project management for our Chinese construction enterprises by analyzing the application of project management maturity model in Chinese construction area.This essay firstly gives an introduction of the definition of project management, the procedure of project management, and the develOPMent and problems on our construction project management. Secondly, this essay introduces several typical project management maturity model's scope, basic constitutes and structure.And this essay tries to analyze and compare these several modes so that we can get a clear understanding on project management maturity model, and can accelerate the their spreading and the fulfillment in our construtcion project management area. Last, this essay draws a conclusion on the feasibility and problems in the implement of our construtcion project management by applicable cases, and gives some advices on how to fulfill project management maturity model deeply.
