| The Automobile Credit is the main part of Automobile Finance inChina. Chinese Commercial Banks started this business in 1998 and havetaken the most part of the market ever since then. The big threeAutomobile Finance Corporations, including GM, Ford and Volkswagen,started this business in 2002. This business has developed fast during2000-2002, while it has slowed down since 2003.
