Technical Study On Factors Affecting Innovation Performance

As economic development goes further, Those made-in-China products have travelled round the world. But the core technologies are always enslaved to foreign companies. Chinese government had suggested that China should make the Indigenous Innovation capabilities as the central point in the process of economic structure adjustment and economic growth mode's fundamental shifts. So, how can those manufacturing companies develop indigenous innovation capability facing the manufacturing industrial structure's upgrade? The answer is technological learning. Through technological learning process, companies can increase the innovation performance in order to build the core technology. Finally, those companies will gain the indigenous innovation capability. That is the purpose of this paper. The whole paper is divided into three sections: theoretical discussion, empirical research and study conclusion.In the section of t theoretical discussion, the conception of technological learning is reviewed. Based on the research of technological learning model before, and the practice of the manufacturing industry in China, the author forms the main idea of the whole paper and puts forward the corresponding theory hypothesis and research model.In the second part, by questionnaire investigation among many manufacturing companies and quantitative analysis of the results, the author concludes influencing factors of technological learning versus innovation performance in China. And then further validation of the relationship between those factors and the performance of innovation performance is given, in order to find out the key influencing factors and the model, which constructs the relationship between the influencing factors and innovation performance. The research goes in two stages: the first stage is expert visiting and literature referring, which tries to find out the composing of technological learning model and some influencing factors, then forming and validating the tentative idea of the research. The second stage is questionnaire investigation and results analysis, which is carried out in the manufacturing industry in China. After that, this paper also takes a company to do the case study.In the last section, the author makes the explanation of the research result and advices on improving the level of technological learning in order to increase the innovation performance. Here are some especially important conlusions: the objects, the layers, and the sources of learning have ignificant effect on innovation performance.
