The Economic Effects Of Technical Barriers To Trade And Countermeasures

When international trade was about to lose the protection of tariffs and traditional non-tariffs, every Country of the World was searching for the other ways or methods to protect its own economy, in order to gain more interests from international trade. Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) became the best option. It was because TBT owned diplex, wide, covert, diffused and some other characteristics that it became one of the most complex and hardest to conquer Barriers in international trade, and became the biggest hinder to international trade.On the basis of other authors' researches on TBT, the thesis analyzes the economical effects of TBT and the impact to China Exportations caused by TBT in a macro way, and points some relative countermeasures and suggestions viewed from Enterprises and Government.
