This article indicates the importance,necessity and feasibility ofconstituting a system to evaluate performance of listed company in ourcountry and reviews the progress of performance evaluation system allover the world. By introducing and summarizing the performanceevaluation system, A new performance evaluation method was broughtforward on the basis of state-owned capital performance evaluationregulation in this paper which involved non-finance indicators of theBalanced Scorecard and analysis layer upon layer of the Du Pont system. This paper divided into four parts. First of all, this newperformance evaluation system employed the PESTN analyzing Model,the Five-Forces Model of Competition, and Identifying StrategicallyRelevant Industry Features to analyze the environment outside thecompany on the basis of Key Point Evaluation Method with a mark ofquantitative analysis. Secondly we analyze the company performance byfinance ratios which are used to evaluate different facets of a company'sperformance and condition: internal liquidity, operating performance, riskprofile and growth potential. And get a synthetically mark to measure acompany's finance performance. Finally we take advantage of the DuPont system to revise the mark.. Through the result mark we can evaluatethe performance of managers and measure the operating performance of acompany.
