The small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) have special growth law and develop track in themselves, so the specialty should be embodied in their credit research and credit evaluation. The credit evaluation of SMEs is the research object in this paper, and the model and method of the credit evaluation of SMEs are also discussed in this paper. When the credit evaluation model is supplied, it can provide a scientific theory foundation to resolve the problem of difficult financing.At first, this paper introduces the research status and some conception and theory at home and abroad. Based on a lot of experts and scholars' conclusion and shortage, the author puts forward a "Three-dimensionality and Three-hierarchy" credit evaluation model combining the SMEs' characteristic and developing status of Shaanxi province.Then, the model' s evaluation indexes are classed, explained and given evaluation criterion. Choosing 66 enterprises' financial data, the paper computed their financial indexes, made the correlation analysis from four aspects such as Solvency, Capacity to earn and operate, Growth Development, and filtrated some indexes have high correlation. Through experts' investigating questionnaire, the paper conformed the indexes' weight in quantity by using the method of AHP and Cluster analysis. The indexes system is composed of seven aspects: Basic Quality, Solvency, Earning, Operate, Technology Innovation, Market, Growth Development; and having twenty-three indexes totally. After putting forward the model entirely, the paper has a test and illumination to a SME by the model, the result shows that the model could be better used for credit evaluation of SMEs. At the end, the paper discussed the conclusions the paper has gotten, explaining some researching shortage and bringing forward some suggestions for further study.
