.500 Kv Taiwan-hong Line Of East 1 Construction Project Management Of Several Key Issues

Project Management is one of the important new management technique which was developed from producing complicated systems of big scale, high cost, and strictly on requirement of schedule in the anaphase of the World War II. It was applied to engineering construction and new products development at first. China introduced project management method from overseas in early 1980's. Its advanced management concept and effective management was accepted widely by domestic industries immediately, especially construction industry. Domestic transmission and transformer construction companies have applied project management method on a series of power project construction, and the results are good. At present, Transmission Line Engineering Construction Project Management has been recognized as a good method to achieve complicated management goals of transmission line engineering construction.Currently, domestic industries use some advanced project management concepts in the process of line construction, applying some management system on assistant management of project, but there's room for improvement. This article is originated from research on solving problems occurred in the No.1 of 500kV TAIXIANG'S east engineering construction project management. The article aims at problems in this project and our actual works. Firstly is the interlink and integration of 3 systems: P3 , SWIS, and MIS; Secondly is how to use P3 to manage schedule, cost and quality of engineering construction projects.In conclusion, the article describes actual results, problems and forecast. It specially points out that the research is just in the process of the No.1 of 500kV TAIXIANG'S east engineering construction project management, but it could be regarded as actual example. Its project management concept and achievement could apply to other transmission line project management directly.
