As well known to all, nowadays knowledge is playing an important role in the development of enterprise. People pay more and more attention to knowledge management. Knowledge transfer is the precondition of knowledge sharing, which is one of the major objectives of knowledge management. With the development of information technology and economy globalization, IT tools are used to deliver knowledge more and more widely. Therefore, it is significant to clarify how IT tools carry out the process. It is obvious that there are many factors affect knowledge transfer process. According to their importance, we choose experience level (including tool-use experience and member common experience) as the moderate variable. The quality of knowledge affects knowledge transferring efficiency significantly, so we divide knowledge into two categories and study them separately. This paper is about to study the following questions: (1) How the five IT tools capabilities affect explicit/tacit knowledge transferring efficiency. (2) How the factor —experience affects the relationship between IT tool capabilities and explicit/tacit knowledge transferring efficiency. (3) Compare transferring processes of explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge. In terms of the purpose, a logical model and nine kinds of hypothesis have been proposed, which are tested by analyzing data from questionnaire. And finally comes the conclusion which is briefly demonstrated as follows: (1) When using IT tool to deliver knowledge, it is not true that the stronger IT tool capabilities are, the better knowledge transferring efficiency is. Different capability has different relationship with explicit/tacit knowledge transferring efficiency. (2) For people of different tool-use experience level, although they use the same IT tool and transfer the same knowledge, the result is different. (3)The common experience (including two factors: familiarity with communicating partners and familiarity with knowledge) can directly affect knowledge transferring efficiency. (4) The common experience moderates the relationship between IT tool capabilities and knowledge transfer result.
