With the highly rapid development of computer science & technology, booming of internet and its popularity, innovation of relative technologies, processing data and sending information has broken through the confine of time and place, which makes coming of the information times an overwhelming. Human civilization is entering a span-new period. E-commerce is directing the future ways of trade. At present, management systems such as, SCM and ERP are being introduced into all areas of national economy in our country. Applying and generalizing of them will bring enormous benefits to the economy and the society. E-commerce will become one of the most significant increasing areas in the future.This study concentrates on applying the supply chain management theory to the design and layout of e-commerce system for Sales & Marketing Department, Yunnan Dongyuan Coal Energy Group, in order to innovating the enterprise with informatization ideas— to use information technologies to integrate inside and outside resources of the enterprise, optimize the operating processes, increase the management efficiency, decrease the cost from sales, unify and conform the enterprise with its providers, clients and logistic enterprises.Exordium of the article introduces the contents, purpose and research method of this study. Chapter2-3 in this article are theoretics which respectively introduced some involved principal knowledge and technologies including the general situation of e-commerce, network technology and internet, supply chain management ideas, and so on.The majority of this article is chapter 4-9. In this part, we depicte status-quo about informatization of Yunnan Dongyuan Coal Energy Group and the significance that e-commerce has to a coal enterprise. Then, based on analyzing the present sales operation, pointing out its problems and analyzing the feasibility of an e-commerce system, we bring forward to set up an e-commerce system for Sales & Marketing Department of Yunnan Dongyuan Coal Energy Group—optimize internal operations of the department by means of e-commerce, put up a whole supply chain includes from outer providers to clients, by using internet technology, build enterprise web for the enterprise. For details, we also amplify the design and layout of Dongyuan Group for e-commerce system—the system includes 7 subsystems and has 7 main functions, which are OA. system, net contact management system, sales management system, ERP system, settlement & payment system, decision support system and customer management system. Through the 7 subsystems and their functions, we can establish a high-efficient, safe and practically useful e-commerce network to conform the department with its relative manufacture, supply, logistic, bank and business.
