Comparative Advantage, Competitive Advantage On The International Competitiveness Of Industry

There exits the divergence if the theory of comparative advantage has been taken place by the theory of competitive advantage which was first elaborated by Porter in his book The Competitive Advantage of Nations. In this article we will use the experience of IT industry's growth in China to verify the relationship between CMPTA and CMPRA. It can be found from this paper that the sources of industrial international competitiveness are from the advantage factors which are characterized by CMPRA, but the shaping of such factors are based on the full exertion of CMPRA. Then we can draw the conclusion that Comparative advantage-following strategy are still meaningful for today's developing countries.
