Automobile Manufacturing Third-party Logistics Performance Evaluation And Management Of Research

The fast development of China's auto industry brings a good opportunity for the rising of its auto logistics industry. Lots of auto companies have started to outsource their logistics operations to the third party logistics and concentrate on their own core business. However, the actual effect of the outsourcing often deviates from the expectation. The purpose of this thesis is to study how to control and manage the process of a whole outsourcing program and to ensure it up to a success.The thesis cites the case study of Leader Logistics Service program of JinBei General Motors in Shenyang, China. It focuses on the establishment of a 3PL quality control and management system, and thus to monitor and improve the implementation of logistics outsourcing from the aspects of cost, quality,information, study and growth. Specifically, the evaluation system is based on"Plan– Do– Check - Act"quality control system. It follows the principles of 3PL quality planning, supplemented by other tool including performance evaluation indicators, customer satisfaction survey, and quality improvement program.
