| This paper attempts to conduct a research on the development strategy of China's shoe retail chain companies. Through elaborating the background, the development course, the present industrial conditions and the transformation factors of the Chinese shoe industry enterprises, this paper also analyzes the opportunities and the challenges and the competition environments of the Chinese shoe industry. In addition, based on the discussion of the feasibility and the inevitability of the trends characteristic of branding, specializing, and scaling for the China's shoe retail chain companies in the current competitive environment, this paper does a thorough analysis on the competitive advantages, strengths and positions of the Zhongta Shoe Company in its initiatives to build and expand its shoe retail chains by utilizing the"Five-Forces"model advocated by Professor Porter.This paper is primarily composed of four parts. In the first chapter, the author outlines the Chinese shoe industry conditions. The second chapter mainly involves the current Chinese shoe industry retail chain conditions and the industrial analysis. The author uses the"Five-Forces"model in a detailed analysis of the industrial structures and discusses in depth the Zhongta Shoe Company in terms of its current competitive status. In the third chapter, the author proposes the multiple development strategy for the Zhongta Shoe Company, which is composed of the retail business, real estate business, business investment, and management, on the basis of the analysis of the trends of the shoe retail chain industry in China.The forth chapter focuses on the control and implementation of the above-mentioned strategy for the Zhongta Shoe Company, including organizational structure, corporate culture, brand strategy, channel management and logistics information, etc.In this paper, on the basis of the discussion of the development strategy of China's shoe retail chain company, the author puts forward the shoe retail chain business strategies and stresses that there are three important aspects such as the channel, optimal logistics and information systems. Essentially the author emphasizes the concept of a knowledge-based economic strategy. |
