Real Estate Project Management Information Systems Research

In the new century, with the rapid development of information technology, the wave of information globalization triggered by IT Revolution is strongly impacting every corner of the world and penetrating into our daily lives and production and operation of enterprises. In particular, the development of Internet in recent years has changed our society as well as many traditional ways of thinking. The situation before the enterprises has also undergone a fundamental change.The importance of information resource, as one of the three strategic resources, is augmenting daily. As for the rapid developing modern real estate industry, the project of which is expanding and complicating daily and the information during the process of the project is becoming more and more. With a view to managing and controlling the process, cost, quality, materials, sales, property and decision-making of the real estate project efficiently, as well as collecting the relevant information accurately and analyzing the dynamic processes and the problems remained to be solved scientifically, we construct a real estate project management information system(RPMIS) platform to assist the project management of real estate enterprises. Through the application of PRMIS, the enterprises may strengthen their competitive edge and promote their core competitiveness.The paper is to study the establishment of a RPMIS operating platform. Firstly, basing on the internal logic and business process of real estate project management, makes an investigation and analysis of the demands for RPMIS, sums up the demanding situation of RPMIS. Then, starting from the survey results, combining with the basic process of real estate project management, explores the designing of RPMIS functions, and adopts UML modeling language to model the RPMIS. Finally, brings forward the general implementation steps of RPMIS.
