To Build The Tertiary Industry Alliance To Promote The Further Development Of The Bohai Sea Region

Bohai Bay area is a new engine for the growth of China's economy. It's playing an increasing important role in China's regional economy. However, the lag of its Tertiary Industry prevents its further development. Therefore, researching on how to break through the barriers which hold back the development of the Tertiary Industry of this area is of great significant importance.Firstly, this paper gives a brief introduction for the related theories, such as the Regional competitiveness theory, the theories of Industrial Structure and Industrial alliance. And it concludes that in order to promote the competitive capability of the whole region, Bohai Bay area should make an alliance in Tertiary Industry. Then this paper analyzes the situation of the Tertiary Industry of the whole area and which of the different provinces and cities in this area through the combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches and find out the comparative advantage of different provinces and cities in the Tertiary Industry. With the development of economy globalization and regional integration, the Tertiary Industry of this area is facing both great challenge and opportunities. The third and forth part of this paper give a detailed analysis for that. The last two parts of this paper discuss the operation system of the alliance in Tertiary Industry and make an empirical study on this alliance.The aim of this paper is attempting to find a new way which could promote the development of Bohai Bay area's regional economy. However, developing regional economy by making an alliance in Tertiary Industry is a new topic, mistakes may be inevitable. Further exploration is needed to be put forward.
