Along with the development of sciety economy and science technology, the work condition of machine parts is strict increasingly. Under different work conditions, the requests of component for wearing, corrosion and breakage are getting high and high, the hot processing techniques of metals material, especially the surface enhance technique, therefore, are particularly important. The surface heat hardening is one of surface process techniques of machine parts. In order to choose heat hardening technology correctly, and the solve program must be considered from practical production, so that the result could be economicaly.Based on the applications of various surface-quenching heating apparatus in Luoyang-zhengqi Machine Limited Company, the importance of spare parts surface enhance from technology and organization characteristics, heat method of machine parts and surface quenching etc. in this paper, are put forward firstly; Second, induction heating principle, organization constitute with function, equipments and application condition are introduced; At last, induction heating apparatus of surface quenching is detailed. In addition, induction heating surface quenching quality check and other application of induction heating apparatus at machine manufacturing are introduced relatedly.The main research content of this paper:the heating way of machine parts surface-quenching is analyzed according to the requestions of machine part work condition and surface function. The structure, parameter and advantage of induction heating apparatus are analysised emphasizly. First, according to the mechanics of the metals parts, the technology process and organization characteristics of surface-quenching are analysised, and the method and equipments of surface-quenching are determined. Then, the structure of induction heating apparatus is designed according to the function advantage and economy energy. Last, by means of parameter calculations, suitable structure and parameters are chosed in order to obtain high efficiency and excellent performance in surface quenching.
