In our research, we first synthesize seven Schiff base ligands, 5-chloro salicylaldehyde-2-aminopyridine(L1), 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde 2-amino-3-hydroxylpyridine (L2),5-chlorosalicylaldehyde-4-methyl-2-aminopyridine(L3), o-vanillin-2-amino-3-hydroxyl- pyridine (L4), o-vanillin-4-methyl-2-aminopyridine(L5), o-vanillin-5-methyl-2-aminopyridine (L6), o-vanillin-2aminopyridine(L7). We have synthesized seven indium complexes which have not been reported in the literature by reacting of these Schiff base ligands with indium trichloride tetrahydrate. IR, NMR, elemental analysis had been used to characterize each compound. We get a single crystal (DC1) from the mother liquor of the C1 complex, then we determinate the crystal structure by single crystal X-ray diffraction.Complex C15H21Cl6InN6(DC1): yellow, monoclinic, space group C2/c,crystal cell parameters:a=18.6491(17) A,b=16.2454(14) A,c=8.4004(5) A;Z=4, V=2356.1(3)A3,F(000)=1216,R1 = 0.0355,wR2 = 0.0852.
