China's oil resources are scarce, and the present oil has been found can't satisfy the crude oil production requirement. China's crude oil output has increased steady, but there is still some gap comparing with the rate of economic growth, so it's unfavorable to the long-term national enecnomic development. Consumption of oil is growing rapidly in China, the contradiction between supplyying and demand has become increasing prominently, and the dependence on foreign oil is increasing day by day, and has already been around 50% of the cordon, the situation is more worrying. China has to ensure economic develop steadily, save the use of oil at the same time, and control over-rapid growth of oil consumption, aslo improve the old oil fields of oil recovery, strive for yield increase efficiency.Along with the development of exploitation, many big oilfields have strengthened the study on dynamics of the down hole tools both at home and abroad. The tension and compression twist device is a supporting experiment device that is with comprehensive test wellhead and oil-immersed experiment device test openings and down hole tool complete packer of mechanical seal, sit and lower well un-ban string of lifting and disassembling and other typical wellhead operating tasks.This paper completes the design of wellhead tension, compression twist device structure and hydraulic system. This paper introduces the tension compression of the domestic and foreign development profile twisted device, and makes the device research content clear. The machinery parts and hydraulic parts are detailed analyzed and identified the overall plan of connected part, then this paper expounds device's working principle. This paper completes the structure machine parts structure of design based on function modular design. Strength analysis and calculation are made to the key mechanism for device. Based on work of the device, this paper establishes hydraulic system loop and draws figures of the hydraulic system. At present, the wellhead pressure of twist tension has been carried out for three-month on field trial that proves the device is strong reliable and well-functioning. So oil field downhole tools may meet the test requirements.
