Ring spinning technology is in a dominant position in the field of short fiber spinning,and twisting is very important for staple fiber spinning.Through twisting the strength can be imposed on the yarn,but the twisting torque has a bad effect on the stability of the yarn twist.Low twist yarn with high twist stability,soft and comfortable properties,can greatly reduce energy consumption and production cost.The existing methods that can reduce the yarn torque are complex and inconvenient to refit.So the research of low twist spinning on ring spinning machinery has important and practical significance.In this paper,a low twister spinning device applying in ring spinning was designed.When the device was used,the average distribution of the twister was analyzed.What's more,the optimal application condition of the low twist device was explored and the technological parameters of spinning process were optimized.Firstly,base on analysis of existing spinning technology and low twisting method,a designing concept for an installation fitted on ring spinning machine to reduce the twist factor was introduced.Through the analysis of theory and application of false twisting,the low twist yarn device was designed,which using rotary belt to bring false twisting to fiber bundle.What's more,the driving and installation of the belt were introduced.The analysis of the stress condition of the twist point and the distribution of the twist,demonstrate the effect of the low twist device and the belt's rotary velocity and angle surrounded by the yarm are the main factors that affect the efficiency of the twisting.Secondly,experiments were done to test and confirm the effect of the low twist device and applying conditions of the low twist device were studied:the optimum belt was chosen,the paper investigated the process parameters of low twist device.We selected single factors:including the rotary velocity of the belt and the distance between apron and fuselage.When a single factor mentioned above was changed and other factor was fixed,the yam properties had been tested and analyzed.By doing the two factors and five level orthogonal combination experiment,the optimum spinning parameters were obtained;the rotary velocity,25 m/min;the distance between apron and fuselage,5 cm,and the result was verified by experiment.Then,in the optimal process condition of the false device,the spinning process parameters were studied.These two single factor nip gauge and bell-mouthed center distance were discussed.When a single factor mentioned above was changed and other factor was fixed,the yarn properties had been tested and analyzed.By doing the two factors and five level orthogonal combination experiment,the optimum spinning parameters were obtained:the nip gauge,3.6mm;the bell-mouthed center distance,6 mm,and the result was verified by experiment.Finally,we explored the effect that the low twist device plays on the spinning triangular zone and the stability of the yarn twist,also explored the possibility to form layering structure with the low twist device.Simulation experiment was carried out,core yarn with high twister while the outer layer with low twister,soft comfortable feel.The yarn had more stable structure,and provided a direction for further research.
