Temperature sensitive paint was an optical sensors that based on the temperature quenching mechanism of fluorescent,used for surface temperature change measurement.Luminescent molecule of temperature sensitive paint was prepared by using RuCl3·XH2O,bipyridyl as the primary material,and it mixed with methylmethacrylate and shellac binder.The temperature quenching characterization of temperature sensitive paint was also studied.Infrared spectroscopy revealed that the structure of bipyridyl was complete in the ruthenium complex.The chemical structure,feather.thermal characterization of luminophore and temperature quenching characterization of temperature sensitive paint was tested and analyzed. Infrared spectroscopy revealed that the structure of bipyridyl was complete in the ruthenium complex. The molecules of ruthenium complex were tabular crystal and regular hexagon showing from the picture of scanning electron microscope. TG-DTA test implied that the ruthenium complex break up at 320℃.The absorption spectra of temperarure sensitive paint revealed that the absorption wavelength of luminophore at 410-470nm.The excitation peak was at 469nm.The fluorescent spectrum indicated that the emission peak of temperature sensitive paint was at about 581-585nm, and the fluorescent intensity reduced along with the temperature increasing at the same excitation wavelength and excitation intensity.the result verified there was better temperature quenching characterization of temperature sensitive paint.
