Research And Development Of Open Automatically Programming System Of WEDM

As the extensive use of new materials which are with high hardness and high strength, WEDM is playing an increasingly important role in the modern processing industry. Because the parts which are machined by WEDM are generally more complex and high precision, manual programming has been unable to meet the producing needs. Consequently, the computer automatical programming has become an inevitable trend.A good automatic programming system of WEDM should be able to access the center of wire path quickly and accurately based on the graph, at the same time, should be able to complete the interpolation calculation with the suitable interpolation algorithm. Based on the study of WEDM automatical programming at home and abroad automatic develop a set of open automatic programming system of WEDM. The main research work is as follows:Through the analysis to the functional requirements of the open automatic programming system of WEDM, determine the software architecture of this system is parallel processing architecture for multi-task;Through the analysis to the situation of the data transmission between modules, create an automatic programming system data structures.On the basis of the analysis to the DXF file structure, this system has realized the extracting, filtering and sorting of the DXF files graphic information, and then developed the CAD software interface module which is based on DXF file.This system also researches the calculation method of WEDM Processing the center of wire path trajectory calculation method, and develops the automatic programming system with the radius compensation function.Using the point by point comparison, this system developed the software interpolation module, and the interpolation results transmitted via the serial interface to the next crew, the next crew decoded and ultimately drive the machine. Finally, the writer had verified the function and stability of this system on the micro-controlled cutting machine bed DK7740 (which is produced in the Jiangnan Electronic Instrument Factory).
