With the stable and sustainable development of China's economy, the risks will be increased and fire situation increasingly severe. In recent years, many incidents have occurred,which cause heavy casualties and property losses. Most of these fires occur in crowded public places. The evacuation of people in the building in fire become a primary issue.In this paper.we analyse the influence factors of evacuation.Human behaviour effect on the evacuation as the key point is introduced.Based on the theoretical basis and safe evacuation of factors,we analyse the advantages and disadvantages of simulation softs.Compared to the strengths and weaknesses of the simulation softwares used in our country and abroad, we determine to select the software of FDS+Evac,which is based on the social force. We set the parameters and complete modeling of studying room in the library.According to the different evacuations and fire scenes, we draw many useful conclusions about safe evacuation:1) We consider different influence factors and set the social force model about studying room in the library.2) We analyze different factors such as exits.exit width, location of the things in the building and different sex ratios.which influent to the required evacuation times.3) We analyze different factors such as fire heat release rate, fire location.natural draft and ambient temperature,which influent to the available evacuation times.Because fire can not be repeated and unexpected, evacuation simulations by computer provide the performance-based fire protection design with a reference.Besides, promote the process of a performance-based fire safety design and prove the significance of this research.
